RACINE – Leonard Gutkowski, 82, passed away at Ridgewood Care Center on Saturday, August 11, 2018. Leonard was born in Wauwatosa on July 24, 1936 to David and Selma Gutkowski. He married the former Naomi Groll, recently celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary. Leonard retired in 1995 from Kyle Products in South Milwaukee after more than 35 years. He loved fishing, traveling, Nascar and being outdoors doing yardwork. Survivors include his wife, Naomi Gutkowski; children, Terri (Vincent) D'Alie, Doreen (Kenneth) Fink, Leonora (Gordon) Moffett and step son, Robert (Lisa) Guerard; grandchildren, Cody Larson, Andrew Molbeck, Travis Fink, Dustin Gutkowski, Gordon Moffett, Jr., Cody Moffett, Kathleen Moffett, Jacob Guerard and Nathan Guerard; four great grandchildren; and his brother, Jerry Newton. Leonard is also survived by other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; step mother, Myrtle Gutkowski; and brothers, Chuck Newton and Bill Newton. A service for Leonard with full military honors, will take place at Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery Chapel on Thursday, August 23, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. Memorials may be directed to the Wounded Warrior Project or the Disabled American Veterans.
