Laverne J. Boldus Racine – LaVerne J. Boldus, 91, passed away at Wheaton Franciscan All Saints on Wednesday, August 5, 2015. LaVerne was born in Wisconsin on December 22, 1923 to John W. and Jennie (nee, Christenson) Anderson. LaVerne married the former Floyd Boldus on June 21, 1946. He preceded her in death on December 12, 2012. She enjoyed teaching piano and was an avid seamstress. Survivors include; children, David (Barbara) Boldus, Martin (Suzzanne) Boldus, Susan (Michael) Peterson and Stephen (Davena) Boldus; grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. She is also survived by other relatives and friends. Funeral services for LaVerne will be held at the West Lawn Memorial Park Chapel on Friday, August 7, 2015 at 11:30 a.m. with Rev. David Sincock officiating. Relatives and friends may meet with the family at the chapel on Friday morning from10:30 a.m. until the time of the service at 11:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Fellowship Baptist Church or the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
