RACINE – Lars J. Johnson, 73, passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Sunday, August 6, 2017. Lars was born in Kenosha on May 1, 1944 to Louis and Bernice (nee, Romie) Johnson. He married the former Linda Scheuerman. Lars was employed by Webster Electric, Danfoss and retired from Topper. He loved being up north at his cabin in Adams County, sitting around the campfire telling stories. He enjoyed hunting, watching the birds and animals and was a Packer and Nascar fan. Lars was a hero to his granddaughter, Savana! Survivors include his wife, Linda Johnson; daughters, Venessa (Peter) Kleinfeldt and Erin Johnson; grandchildren, Justin (Heidi) Ahles, Savana Tcheordikian, and Summer, Dakota and Andrew Busarow; great grandchildren, Owyn and Peyton Ahles; and his sister, Jacqueline Coburn. Lars had a special bond with his brother-in-law, Mike "Buck" Scheuerman and son-in-law, Pete; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Thomas Johnson; brother-in-law, John Coburn; and father-in-law, Mike Scheuerman. In keeping with Lars' wishes cremation has taken place. A private family celebration of his life will take place in Adams County. Please have a shot in his memory.
