Racine – Larry E. Boyd, 60, passed away at his home on Tuesday, September 3, 2013. Larry was born in Alamo, TN on January 22, 1953 to Latheree and Minnie (nee, Mcurrie) Boyd. He married the former Sherrian Johnson, recently celebrating 25 years of marriage. Larry was employed by Michaels Machine for over twenty-five years and was a caregiver at Hope Away from Home. He was an avid Bears fan and enjoyed riding his motorcycle, but most of all, Larry was a faithful member of Faith Christian Fellowship Church and a loving husband, father and grandfather. Survivors include his wife, Sherrian Boyd; children, Marlo (Ken) Eggerson and Angela (Henry) Jackson; his mother, Minnie Boyd; and a host of grandchildren; a great-granddaughter; four brothers; two sisters; other relatives and friends. Funeral services for Larry will be held at the funeral home on Monday, September 9, 2013 at 12 noon. Relatives and friends may meet with the family at the funeral home on Monday morning from 10 a.m. until the time of the service. Memorials may be directed to Hope Away from Home.
