Kurt J. Prochaska Racine - Kurt J. Prochaska, 51, passed away on Wednesday, April 23, 2008. Kurt was born in Racine on June 28, 1956 to James Prochaska and Janice (nee, Tuinstra) Prochaska. He worked on the Prochaska Farms in his earlier years, last working for Ray Hintz Landscaping. Kurt was an outdoorsman, enjoying both fishing and hunting. He had also played softball. Kurt is survived by his daughter, Jennifer Baum; father and step-mother, James and Janice Prochaska; and his brothers, Jeffrey Prochaska and Keith Prochaska. Kurt is also survived by other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his mother, Janice Prochaska; grandparents, John and Lorraine Tuinstra, and Emil and Helen Prochaska; and his half-sister, Jamie Prochaska. Relatives and friends are invited to meet with the family at the funeral home this Friday evening, April 25, 2008 from 5 until 8 p.m. Private family inurnment will take place in Caledonia Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the family have been suggested.
