Kieana Latishia Young Racine - Kieana Latishia Young, 14, passed away at Children's Hospital in Milwaukee on Saturday, October 4, 2008. Kiki was born in Racine on April 22, 1994 to Michael and Julie Young. She attended Gilmore School. Kiki worked at Subway and loved to sing and hang with her best friend Ashley. Kiki found great joy in being an aunt to her nephew and loved her brother, and sister Dejia, who was her idol. Kiki also loved spending time with her cat, Pebbles. Survivors include her parents, Julie Young and Michael Young; sister, Dejia Young; brother, Michael Young, Jr.; half brothers and sisters, Tashanti, Braydon, Darius, and Tia Young; maternal grandmother, Christine Young; paternal grandmother, Betty Young; maternal great-grandmother, Felice Fintak; and paternal great-grandmother, Earlene Howze; aunts and uncles, Damon Young, Sr., Melissa Young and Paul Young, Sr. Kiki is also survived by half brothers, half sisters, nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Jonathan Young; maternal grandfather, Lewis Young; maternal great-grandfather, Alfred Fintak; aunt, Shelly Young; and uncles, Timothy Young and Lewis Young, Jr. Funeral services for Kiki will be held at the Greater Grace Temple Church, 522 N. Memorial Drive, on Saturday, October 11, 2008 at 8 a.m. Interment will follow at Graceland Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet with the family at the funeral home on Friday evening from 5 until 8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been set up in Kieana's name at Bank Mutual, 3039 S. Green Bay Road. The family would like to extend a special thanks to the staff at Children's Hospital for all of their care and compassion.
