Kenneth C. Jaeck RACINE – Kenneth C. Jaeck, 86, passed away on Tuesday, March 29, 2016. Ken was born in Racine on January 21, 1930 to Clarence and Clara (nee, Bahr) Jaeck. He graduated from Wm. Horlick High School in 1948, and married his wife of 61 years, Clara (nee, Sahagian), in 1954. Ken retired from Twin Disc in 1992 after more than 34 years as an assembler. He was also known as a co-owner of Astro Popcorn Co., the makers of "Moon Corn". Ken enjoyed playing cards, having a beer with friends, bowling, and watching sports. He and Clara were avid travelers; cruising throughout the Caribbean, Europe, Hawaii, and Alaska. Most of all, Ken loved his family. Survivors include his wife, Clara Jaeck; children, David Jaeck, Terry Jaeck and Greg (JoAnne Breese-Jaeck) Jaeck; his grandchildren, Daniel Jaeck, Aaron Jaeck, Amalia Jaeck and Alaina Jaeck; and his brother, Glenn (Stella) Jaeck. Ken is also survived by other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents. Funeral services for Ken will be held at Holy Communion Lutheran Church on Monday, April 4, 2016 at 1:30 with Rev. Laura Fladten officiating. Entombment will follow at West Lawn Memorial Park. Relatives and friends may meet with the family at the church on Monday from 12:30 p.m. until the time of the service at 1:30 p.m. Memorials may be directed to Holy Communion Lutheran Church.
