RACINE – Kathryn Skow, 88, passed away at Wheaton Franciscan All Saints on Saturday, March 12, 2016. Kathryn was born in Racine on May 22, 1927 to Arthur and Catherine Zeratsky. She was a graduate of UW Parkside and had enjoyed many years of service for Racine County Social Services as a dedicated Social Worker. Kathryn married Russell L. Skow, on September 2, 1944. He survives her along with her daughter, Catherine Jaeck; son, Roger (Karen) Skow; grandchildren, Jeremy (Lisa) Skow, Kari Skow-Hohnl and David R. (Sarah) Jaeck; great grandchildren, Nathan Hohnl, Jack Hohnl and Dani Rae Skow; and her former son-in-law, David F. Jaeck. Kathryn is also survived by nieces, nephew, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Helen Zeratsky; brother, Arthur Zeratsky; and niece, Sandy Zeratsky. In keeping with Kathryn's wishes, there will be no service. Cremation has taken place. Memorials may be directed to your favorite charity in Kathryn's name.
