RACINE – Katherine Kaprelian, 81, passed away on Monday, August 11, 2014. Katherine was born in Racine on October 3, 1932 to Sarkis and Elizabeth (nee, Youghourtjian) Asdigian. She married Charles Kaprelian, who preceded her in death. Survivors include her children, Michael (Sherry) Kaprelian, Mark (Denise) Kaprelian and Michelle Kaprelian; grandchildren, Marko Arias, Deana (Patrick) Griffiths, Jeffrey (Lauren) Kaprelian, Johnny Kaprelian, Jaimie Kaprelian, Jason Kaprelian, Katelyn and Kyle Turner; great-grandchildren, Sofia, Sophie and Sosi. Katherine is also survived by brothers, sisters, other relatives and friends. Funeral services for Katherine will be held at St. Mesrob Armenian Apostolic Church, 4605 Erie Street, on Friday, August 15, 2014 at 10:30 a.m. with Rev. Yeprem Kelegian officiating. Inurnment will take place at Graceland Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet with the family at the church on Friday morning from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the service at 10:30 a.m.
