RACINE – Karen L. Paulson, 86, passed away at home on Tuesday, September 13, 2016. Karen was born in Racine on June 3, 1930 to Arnold and Karen (nee, Thompsen) Lueckfeld. She met the love of her life while working at the Rialto Theatre, Gene Paulson celebrating 56 years of marriage. He preceded her in death on October 16, 2006. She worked in Administration at St. Luke's Hospital. Karen enjoyed many nights with her friends at Hansen's. Survivors include her sons, Tom (Sue) Paulson and Robert (Julie) Paulson; grandchildren, Staci, Tiffany, Wren, Jacob (Genna) Paulson, Amanda (Larry) Huissen and James (Kasondra) Paulson; 3 great grandchildren; and Gigi to Sophia, Kaylee and Abigail. Karen is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; sons, Ronald G. Paulson and Alan J. Paulson; and her good friend, Lew Burns. Funeral services for Karen will be held at the funeral home on Saturday, September 17, 2016 at 11 a.m. Interment will follow at Graceland Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet with the family at the funeral home on Saturday morning from 9 a.m. until the time of the service at 11 a.m.
