Racine- On Sept. 26th at 12:00 pm. Julie Marie Scheck closed the final chapter of her time here on earth. It was a life filled with happiness and laughter. Julie touched the life of every person she came in contact with and always for the better. Her capacity for love and charity was unsurpassed. Julie loved life and lived it to its fullest. She took great joy in the successes of her friends and family and supported them all throughout her life. Her passing will leave a void in many lives but the joy and memories that she leaves behind will forever stay with those that knew her. Julie married Matt Scheck on July 5, 1998 and he survives her along with her father, Ronald Despins; sister, Jodie Despins; brothers, Eugene, Robert and Ronald (Sarah) Despins; nephews, Nathaniel Hempel, Riley Despins and Daniel Despins; and aunt, Theresa Weyer. She is also survived by other relatives and many friends. She was preceded in death by her mother Mary (nee: LaPinske) Despins and grandmother, Martha (nee: Weyer) LaPinske Funeral services for Julie will be held at Lutheran Chapel of the Cross, 1426 Fancher Road, on Friday, September 30, 2011 at 10 a.m. with Rev. Brian Liermann officiating. Entombment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, Hwy 32. Relatives and friends may meet with the family at the funeral home on Thursday evening from 5 until 8 p.m. and at the church on Friday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the service.
