Joyce L. Volpintesta Racine - Joyce L. Volpintesta, nee Tully, passed away peacefully at her home on Saturday, July 19, 2008.Joyce was born in Racine on January 2, 1927. She married Anthony V. Volpintesta on November 10, 1948. He preceded her in death on July 7, 2003. Joyce was a simple women, who found pleasure in the simplest things in life. She enjoyed shopping and loved spending time with her family. He favorite pastime was playing bingo with her friends.Joyce is survived by her children, Bruce (Sandy) Volpintesta, Marie Hanson and Ramona (Gary) Halbur; grandchildren, Lisa, Ryan, Pamela, Monica, Jenissee, Haley, Kara and Alexandra; great-grandchildren, Connor, Leah, Elizabeth, Mariah, Samuel, Thane, Soren, Elias and Elijah; sisters, Patsy Reed and Alice Horvath; and sisters-in-law, Carol Tully and Betty Tully. Joyce is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her great granddaughter, Lauren Marie Hueffner; her parents; three brothers; and two sisters. Funeral services for Joyce will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday, July 22, 2008 at 1 p.m. Interment will follow at West Lawn Memorial Park. Relatives and friends may meet with the family at the funeral home, on Tuesday from 11 a.m. until the time of services.
