Joyce Ann Ramczyk, age 84, passed away on Monday, April 28, 2025 at Aurora Medical Center, Mount Pleasant. She was born in Milwaukee, WI on September 12, 1940 to the late Edward and Vita Bell Dunn. On April 15, 1960, she married Stanley Ramczyk, and they recently celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary. They were blessed with 4 sons: Brian, Robert, Douglas and Daniel. Joyce was a Jack of all Trades, having been employed at The Spinning Wheel, Country Inn, S.C. Johnson and then finally retiring from TG3. After retirement she stayed busy helping out with clerical work and cleaning at R&B Carpets and Flooring. When she wasn't working, she enjoyed playing cards, playing the slots at Potawatomi Casino, watching football, and helping Stanley in the yard. Her specialty was sweeping up the grass clippings. She had a love of shopping which led to an abundance of purses, watches and shoes. Accessorizing was clearly her specialty, never leaving the house without her gold hoop earrings. Her faith brought her to be a member of St. Mary by the Lake Catholic Church, where she helped with "meet your neighbor". You could always be sure to find her in the back corner with her church posse. Above all else, Joyce cherished time with her family. She created many traditions, such as going Black Friday shopping with her daughters-in-law, dragging them out at the crack of dawn every year. Joyce is survived by her loving husband Stanley Ramczyk, her sons Brian (Patti) Ramczyk, Robert (Brenda) Ramczyk, Doug (Nicole) Ramczyk, Dan Ramczyk and Lauri Taylor: her grandchildren: Heather (Christina) St. Ledger, Jon (Lexi) Ramczyk, Stephanie (Joe) Ramczyk, Kyle Ramczyk, Brittany Ramczyk and Marco Verdiguel; and her great grandchildren: Brodie, Jaxson, Harper, Hendrix, Logan, Leila, and Lennon. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her siblings: Harold Dunn, Irene Brzoska, Birdie LaDow, Edward Dunn Jr., Robert Dunn, Roger Dunn, Iris Eisner, Feral Stewart, Joanne Dunn and great grandchild Meya. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, May 8, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Mary by the Lake Catholic Church, 7605 Lakeshore Dr, Racine, WI 53402. Entombment will follow in Holy Cross Cemetery, HWY 32. A visitation will be held on Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of Mass at the church.
