RACINE – Joyce Mott, 89, passed away peacefully in her sleep at home, on December 5, 2016. She was born in Land O' Lakes, WI on June 23, 1927 to Harry and Genevieve Wright (Codd). Raised in Watersmeet, MI, she graduated from Watersmeet High School, "Home of the Nimrods", in 1945. She moved to Racine in 1946 to attend Milwaukee Business Institute, where she received her Associates Degree. She retired in 2003 from St. Mary's business office after 26 years of dedicated employment. Joyce was preceded in death by her mother and father; husband of 30 years, Orland Mott; her beloved son, Michael Frahm; brother, Murphy Wright; and sister, Bonnie Caron. Joyce leaves behind one brother, Daniel Wright; two sons, Kelly Mott, Gary and the late Sandra Mott; daughter, Maureen (Robert Arndt) and daughter-in-law Mary Frahm; 6 grandkids, Lisa (David) Smail, Jimmy Smal, Chantil Ciuffetelli, Orland (Angelina) Mott, Michael Mott and Cassie (Ryan) Hilt; and 13 great grandchildren. Joyce was a wonderful mother and grandmother, always putting her family first. She loved to shop and travel, and she was an avid football fan. Always the life of the party, she was loved by all who met her. She will be greatly missed, and forever remembered.
