RACINE – Joseph P. Smogoleski, 75, passed away at Wheaton Franciscan All Saints on Thursday, October 15, 2015. Joe was born in Milwaukee on January 20, 1940. He married Ernestine M. "Tina" (nee, Edl) Smogoleski. She preceded in death. Joe is survived by his daughter, Lisa Marie (Todd Rognsvoog) Hendricks; grandchildren, Stephanie (Matthew) Ahles and David Hendricks; sisters, Silvia Jennings and Carlene Kroh; brother, Edward Smogoleski; brother-in-law, Peter J. Edl; and his sisters-in-law, Mary Ann Edl and Rosalynn Chastain. Joe is also survived by other relatives and friends. In keeping with Joe's wishes, a private family service will be held. Cremation has taken place.
