Kenosha, WI
On February 9th 2025, Joseph Alexander Hughes passed away at 26 years of age.
Joseph was a passionate young man with a lifelong interest in fitness, martial arts, and currency trading. Born in Kenosha to a large family, he was just a few years older than his many nieces and nephews who always clamored to spend time with "Uncle Joe"
Joseph was a gifted athlete, competing in wrestling and track in high school, before continuing on to University of Wisconsin—Madison to study engineering. Joseph spent his years after college raising capital towards his dream of building his own firm.
Joseph died unexpectedly in his home in Burlington on Sunday, February 9th.
Joseph is survived by his parents William & Virginia, and his siblings Joshua, Abigail, Jonathan, Samuel, Daniel, Isaac, Margaret, Matthew, Peter, Stephan, and Benjamin. He is also survived by many friends, and a large extended family with many, many loving nieces and nephews.
The family is holding an open house memorial on Friday, March 7th. The event is open to friends and family to stop by and share a memory of Joseph's life. The memorial open house will be held from 3:00-7:00 PM on Friday, March 7th at 1520 College Ave, Racine WI, 53403. Light refreshments to be served.
