Obituary
Racine – Jose "Gregg" J. Guerra, 58,
passed away at his home on Saturday, November 15, 2025. Gregg was born in Racine on August 21, 1967, to Victoria DeLuna. He married Tammy L. Stephan on November 11, 2011.
For many years, Gregg worked at Bob Stephan's Auto in Racine before opening his own business, Stephan's Auto Sales and Service , in 2008. He had a lifelong passion for working on classic vehicles. In recent years, he found great pride and joy in spending more time with his wife and children.
Gregg is survived by his wife, Tammy L. Stephan ; his children, Robert H. Stephan (Ronni Wambach) and Emily J. Guerra ; and his siblings Maria Reynoso, Janie Barrios, Yolanda Guerra, Jerome Guerra, Gloria Salas, and Josie Garcia . He is further survived by numerous half-siblings, relatives, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Victoria DeLuna ; his sister, Esther Munoz ; his brother, Carlos Moran ; his father-in-law, Robert A. Stephan ; his mother-in-law, Linda E. Stephan ; and his special dog companions Onyx and Cleo .
A heartfelt thank you is extended to his sister-in-law Karen M. Stephan (Nicholas Marshall) and to Jason Dahl , who supported Gregg and his family throughout his illnesses over the past several years.
Funeral services for Gregg will be held privately. Please contact the family if you wish to be included in his celebration of life. Memorials to the family are appreciated in lieu of flowers.
