Racine – Jon R. Flick, 47, passed away at his home on Thursday, December 23, 2010. Jon was born in Racine on February 26, 1963 to Arlen and Colleen (nee, Hein) Flick. He married the love of his life, Kathy Heitzmann on April 4, 1992. Jon was employed by Nelson Electric Supply Company for 24 years. The best times in Jon's life were the times he spent with his family. He enjoyed partaking in the many activities of his sons and spending time with his wife. He especially loved watching the Packers play as well as many other hometown teams. Jon was a loving husband and devoted father. He will be missed by many. Jon is survived by his wife, Kathy Flick; sons, Jess Flick and Kevin Flick; mother, Colleen Flick; and brothers, Keith (Ann) Flick, Jeffrey Flick, Mark Flick and Chad Flick. Jon is also survived by nieces, nephews, loving in-laws, other relatives and many dear friends. He was preceded in death by his father and nephew Jake. A funeral service for Jon will be held at Christ the King Lutheran Church, 3350 LaSalle Street, on Monday, December 27, 2010 at 3 p.m. with Rev. Hilbert Kamps officiating. A private family interment will take place. Relatives and friends are invited to meet with the family at the church on Monday at noon until the time of the service. Memorials may be directed to the family.
