John Richard Totka, Sr. RACINE – John Richard Totka, Sr., 71, passed away at Wheaton Franciscan All Saints on Thursday, December 17, 2015. Dick was born in Cudahy on June 17, 1944 to Vincent and Mary (Pazitka) Totka. He married the former Judith A. Labisch. Dick retired from Illingworth Corporation after 30 years of service as a refrigeration fitter as a member of the Steam fitters Local 601. Dick was an avid fisherman, sports enthusiasts and above all a family man who enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. Survivors include his wife, Judith A. Totka; sons, John R. Totka, Jr., Jeff (Sue) Totka and Joseph (Carrie) Totka; grandchildren, Ashley (Tony), Elyse, Adaline, Isabelle, Taylor, Ryan, Skyler and Joy; great grandson, Sebastian; and his brothers and sisters, Vincent, Sr., Betti Ann, Dolores, his twin sister Jonelle and Robert. Dick is further survived by sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his sister, Mary. Funeral services for Dick will be held at the funeral home on Sunday, December 27, 2015 at 3 p.m. A private family interment will take place at Caledonia Memorial Park Cemetery. Relatives and friends are invited to meet with the family at the funeral home on Sunday afternoon from 1 p.m. until the time of the service at 3 p.m. A reception will follow at Reefpoint Brew House, 2 Christopher Columbus Causeway, at 4pm.
