John H. Shirk Muskego - John H. Shirk, 66, passed away at Tudor Oaks Health Center after a courageous battle with cancer, on Saturday, October 6, 2007. John was born in Racine on May 29, 1941 to Harry and Inez (Schneider) Shirk. He married the former Marilyn Weier at Second Presbyterian Church on October 17, 1964. John was a member of the Teamsters Local 200. John is survived by his wife, Marilyn Shirk; children, Edward (Carol) Shirk of Oregon, WI and Robert Shirk of Union Grove, WI; grandchildren, Caitlin, Natalie, Collin and Coty; mother, Inez Shirk; sister, Margaret (Jerry) Meyers of Woodbridge, VA; and sister-in-law, Lois Tieze of Trevor, WI. John is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his father. Funeral services for John will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday, October 10, 2007 at 11 a.m. with Rev. Steven H. Jones officiating. Interment will follow at West Lawn Memorial Park. Relatives and friends may meet with the family at the funeral home on Wednesday morning from 9:30 until the time of services. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Tudor Oaks Chapel Fund, S77 W12929 McShane Drive, Muskego, WI 53150.
