RACINE – John E. Kremer, 82, passed away at Season's Hospice in Wauwatosa on Tuesday, May 5, 2020. John was born in Grand Rapids, MI on October 16, 1937 to the late, Edward and Harriet (nee, DeKruyter) Kremer. While growing up in Michigan, he had a well known Sunday school teacher, Gerald R. Ford. He's celebrating 23 years of marriage with the former, Jackie Lynn Taylor. John served in the U.S. Army and was an active member in the American Legion and V.F.W. He was a member of St. Michaels Episcopal Church in Racine. John loved music and played drums in a Jazz Blues Band. Survivors include his wife, Jackie Lynn Kremer; children, John "Nick"(Laura) Kremer, Gailanne (Tom) Karpinski, Michelle Tidwell, Mary (Jerry) Russell, Diana Bagley, Ryan (Heather) Bagley and Ian (Heather) Bagley. John is further survived by his grandchildren, David, Sarah, Elizabeth, Robert, Sydney, Zachary, Olivia, Siobhan, Ciaran, Makenna, and Jonah and special buddy, Marcus, his and Jackie's Beagle. He was preceded in death by his sisters, Mary, and Margaret. In keeping with John's wishes, cremation will take place. A service for John will be held on Monday, August 24, 2020 at 11:00 a.m.at Forest Hill Memorial Park with Full Military Honors.
