LAKE GENEVA- Joan M. Wampole, 52, passed away at Geneva Lake Manor on Thursday, January 18, 2018.Joan was born in Racine on May 8, 1965 to Roland and Madalyn (nee: Vanoss) Wampole. She worked as a bus mechanic. Joan enjoyed watching Nascar and was a Jeff Gordon fan. She was an avid packers fan as well.Joan is survived by her daughters, Ashley (Trinity) Crist and Amber Wampole; grandsons Jaylon Wampole-Mason and Julian Crist; sisters and brother, Mary (Sam) Cuellar, Kelly Wampole and Leon Wampole; nephews and niece, Jeremy (Kymm) Penna-Wampole, Justin Wampole and Samantha Cuellar and great nephew, Ryder Penna-Wampole. She is further survived by other relatives and many friends. Joan was preceded in death by her parents.Funeral services for Joan will be held at the funeral home on Saturday, January 27, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. Private family interment will take place. Relatives and friends may meet with the family at the funeral home on Saturday from 11:00 until the time of services.The family would like to thank the staff at Geneva Lake Manor for their wonderful care.
