RACINE – Jean M. Flannery, 85, passed away at Wheaton Franciscan All Saints on Monday, November 10, 2014. Jean was born in Oshkosh on December 27, 1928 to Frank and Alice (nee, Davis) Hillson. She married Arthur K. Flannery on January 4, 1947. Together they raised eight beautiful children. Jean was a member of St. Joseph Parish for many years and she believed very strongly in her faith. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Her life was all about her family and she very much enjoyed spending time with them, especially playing cards. Jean also worked many years in retail, which she very much enjoyed. Jean is survived by her children, Dave (Vicki) Flannery, Roger (Dianne) Flannery, Jodie (Victor) Muller, Sheila (Robert) Scott, Mark (Carrie) Flannery, and Lora (Fred) Dietel. Jean is also survived by 30 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren and numerous friends and relatives. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Arthur, her daughters, Peggy Flannery and Jan Theilman, and infant grandson, Ryan Flannery. Funeral services for Jean will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday, November 12, 2014 at 11 A.M. Entombment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, Hwy 32. Relatives and friends may meet with the family at the funeral home on Wednesday morning from 9 A.M. until the time of the service at 11 A.M.
