RACINE – Jean M. Burdick, 92, passed away at Ascension All Saints Hospital on Wednesday, June 7, 2017. Jean was born in Racine on June 19, 1925 to William and Hannah (nee, Richter) Kwapil. She married Hugh Burdick who preceded her in death. A graduate of William Horlick High School, she attended Lawrence University in Appleton, WI. Jean was employed by Walker Mfg. and retired as Office Manager from the Visiting Nurses Association. She loved meeting regularly with the Walker Girls. Survivors include her son, Craig (Debra) Burdick; sister-in-law Marged Kwapil, nephews, Bryan Kwapil, Jeffrey Kwapil and Gary Conn; and her cousin Richard Nelson. Jean was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Raymond Kwapil.
