Obituary
Jan was born in South Bend, IN on July 14, 1945 to Ernest and Ruth (Pennell) Moon. She graduated from Delta College in Michigan and was employed at American Express Financial. Jan married Kent McReynolds on January 24, 1970. She was an active member of North Pointe United Methodist Church. Jan was an avid traveler visiting numerous countries and taking a number of cruises. She enjoyed quilting and sewing.
Jan is survived by her husband of 54 years Kent McReynolds, daughter Lisa Morris, son Ryan McReynolds, grandchildren Alison McReynolds, Emma and Gracie Morris and Elizabeth McReynolds, great grandchildren Colton and Lana Anderson , sister Diane Pearson, brother Gary (Jenny) Moon, sister-in-law Karen (Bob) Wagner and brother in law Stephen (Judy) McReynolds. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Jan was preceded in death by her daughter Laura McReynolds and her parents.
Funeral services for Jan will be held at North Pointe United Methodist Church, 3825 Erie Street, on Saturday, February 24, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. Relatives and friends may meet with the family at the church on Saturday morning from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. Private inurnment will take place.
