Racine – Janice M. Bickel, nee, Shepka, 74, passed away at home on Sunday, November 17, 2013. Janice was born in Chicago, IL on April 15, 1939 to Joseph and Helen Shepka. Janice worked in Wausau as a Respiratory Therapist. Survivors include her husband of twenty-two years, Jess Bickel of Racine; children, Michael (Paula) Murdaugh and Michelle (Anthony) Bare; grandchildren, Mike, Chris and Andrew Murdaugh, Luke and Elizabeth Gerdes, and Ashton and Alexandria Bare; two great grandchildren, D.J. and Andre Gerdes; and her sister, Joy (Jack) Foster. Janice is also survived by other relatives and friends. In keeping with Janice's wishes, private family services will be held in Greenwood, WI. Inurnment will take place at Forest Hill Cemetery in Greenwood.
