Sturtevant – Jane L. Beck, nee Stanfield, 48, passed away on Wednesday, February 5, 2014. Jane was born in Racine on February 18, 1965 to Donald L. and Bernice E. (nee Duesing) Stanfield. She was a happy and vibrant person. She could find the humor in every situation and she shared her laughter and zest for life with everyone she met. She also had a compassionate heart and would do anything to help in times of trouble. Because of this, she found her work as a home caregiver especially rewarding. Jane loved her friends and family deeply, and more than anything, she loved her children. Jane is survived by her children, Stephanie, Drake, Madeline, Michael and Mylee; her brothers, Michael J. (Mary Etta) Stanfield and Gary W. (Patricia) Stanfield; sister, Lynn A. Wakefield; and her brother-in-law, Jeff J. Wakefield. Jane is also survived by many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, parents, and her niece, Rebecca Mickelsen. Funeral services for Jane will be held at the funeral home on Saturday, February 15, 2014 at 12 pm. A private family interment will take place at West Lawn Memorial Park. Relatives and friends may meet with the family at the funeral home on Saturday morning from 10 a.m. until the time of the service at noon. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Jane's children.
