RACINE – James L. Patch, 81 passed away on Monday, January 13, 2025 at his home.
Jim was born in Racine on November 13, 1943 to Richard I. and Hilda A. (nee: Kampe) Patch. He married Rosemary Duchac. Sadly, she passed away May 4, 2019.
Jim served in the U.S. Army National Guard and was employed with Twin Disc for more than 46 years until his retirement.
Jim was very proud of his involvement with the Grove Club, where he served as an officer for a number of years and provided guidance to younger members, and enjoyed time at the Duke Farm in Antigo, where he shared a trailer with Rosemary. He considered it one of his greatest accomplishments that he instilled a love of nature and the outdoors in his sons, neices, nephews and grandchildren.
Jim is survived by his sons Andrew Patch and Michael (Kathleen) Patch; grandchildren, Morgan, Niko, Jenna, and Elijah; his brother, Thomas (Barbara) Patch; and sister, Joycelyn (Clancy) Bequith. Jim is further survived survived by other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Jerry Patch.
In lieu of a service, Jim has requested his ashes be spread on the trees he and Rosemary planted at the Farm in a private celebration of his life.
