Racine - James McNeil "Scotty" Durkin, age 83, passed away on Monday, June 3, 2013 surrounded by his loving family.James was born in Glasgow Scotland on March 20, 1930, son of the late James and Helen (Nee: McFadden) Durkin. He served in the Royal Air Force and was an active member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, Local 430.James was united in marriage to Esther Durkin (Nee: Mooney) on September 27, 1958. He is survived by his loving wife, Esther, his children, Nancy (Richard) Lenzke and Allan (Dawn) Durkin, his grandchildren, Jennifer Lenzke, Alec Lenzke, Taryn Lenzke, Ashley (Kyle) Hammond, Nathan Vizcarra, and Cody Vizcarra, his great-grandchildren, Cache and Harper Hammond, his sister, Anne Boyd, and many nieces, nephews and cousins.A memorial mass will be celebrated on Thursday, June 6, 2013 at St. Rita Catholic Church 4339 Douglas Avenue.
