RACINE- Jakob "Twiggy" Flohr, 23, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, June 9, 2015. Jakob was born in Racine on November 2, 1991 to Jacob and Robin (nee, Anderson) Flohr. He has been employed at Twin disc for the past four years in a job that fit him perfectly. He loved working with his hands. Jake was a natural leader and not a follower. He was a very caring individual, had a good and sarcastic sense of humor, and loved harassing his friends. He enjoyed camping and hunting with his family and friends; cooking and making jerky. Halloween was his favorite time of year and he loved to decorate for the season, as well as listening to Christmas music year around. Jake had many tattoos, telling the story of his family. He loved his family and most importantly he was a loving and wonderful father to Grayson. Jake is survived by his son, Grayson Lee Flohr; parents; Jacob and Robin Flohr; his soul mate, Jessica Vlieger; beloved brother, Brian M. (Laura Creuziger) Schoenbeck; and his paternal grandmother, Eva Flohr. Jake is also survived by cousins, aunts, uncles, other relatives and many friends. He was preceded in death by his auntie Afi Kaprelian. Funeral services for Jake will be held at the funeral home on Sunday, June 14, 2015 at 4 p.m. with Rev. John Fleming officiating. Relatives and friends are invited to meet with his family at the funeral home on Sunday afternoon from 2 p.m. until the time of the service at 4 p.m. Following the service a celebration of Jakob's life will continue at the Moose Lodge. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family who is establishing a fund for Jake's son, Grayson.
