Racine – Jacqueline R. Matson, 75, passed away at Lifecare Hospital in Pewaukee on Saturday, December 10, 2011. Jackie was born in Racine on May 28, 1936 to Carl and Gertrude Moser. She married John S. Matson on August 20, 1955 and he preceded her in death on November 8, 2009. Jackie loved spending time with her family and friends, especially her grand and great grand children. Jackie loved her sports being an avid fan of the Packers, Badgers, Brewers and any and all teams her Grandchildren were on. She enjoyed shopping with her special friends, and enjoyed her trips and adventures with her Husband and friends Bonnie and Jim. She was known as Grandma Jackie to more than just her grandchildren and she was the most kind, considerate, patient and loving person we have ever knownJackie is survived by her children, Stanley (Brenda K.) Matson, Timothy (Deb) Matson, Jeffrey (Anna) Matson, Robert Matson and Debra (Jim) Ladwig; grandchildren, Jonathon S. Matson, Dawn (Tim) Prust, Jordan Matson, Joshua Matson, Scott Matson, Jeremiah (Ali) Matson, George Matson, Marina Matson, Savannah Schatzman and Buddy Ladwig; great-grandchildren, Isabella Matson, Maddox Matson and Jaxson Prust; special sister-in-law, Joyce Schneider; and the sister she never had Barb and her special friends Rose and Sue. Jackie is also survived by other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; and brother, Ronald Moser. Memorial services for Jackie will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, December 15, 2011 at 6 p.m. with Rev. Holly Anderle officiating. Inurnment will take place at Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet with the family at the funeral home on Thursday from 4 p.m. until the time of services.The family would like to extend a special thanks to the staff of Froedtert Hospital, 2NT, Dr. Milia and NP's Amy, Colleen and Marie; and NP Dean Tajnai from WFHC for all of their care and compassion.
