Izzy, Miss Iz, Squirt, Baby Girl was given her crown of eternal life when she entered the gates of heaven on June 21, 2016. Izzy was born in Racine on March 6, 2007 to Jeffrey and Tiffany (nee Hoffmann) van Sliedrecht. She became God's child that very same day through the waters of Holy Baptism. She attended school at Wells Street Academy.Izzy is survived by her parents, Jeffrey and Tiffany (Hoffmann) van Sliedrecht? brother Wesley, maternal grandparents Rev. Bruce and Marlyne Hoffmann, and paternal grandparents Eduard and Rita van Sliedrecht. Izzy is also survived by her many aunts and uncles? Michael and Jenny Stollenwerk, Shawn and Julie Hoffmann, Todd and Susan Cour, Rev. Jon and Becky van Sliedrecht, and Kimberly Hoffmann. She will also be greatly missed by her 13 cousins Ethanand Owen Stollenwerk? Joshua, Zachary, Jacob, and Matthew Hoffmann? Faith, Danielle, Alexa, and Adrionna Cour? Abigail, Noelle, and Naomi van Sliedrecht.We as her family praise God for the gift Izzy was in each of our lives. We thank Him for the years He granted us all to be with her and to learn from her. She taught us how to love unconditionally and the importance of our Baptismal faith. Izzy taught us how to celebrate the little things in life. She loved the outdoors, listening to music and to her dad's voice. She loved having her hair played with and brushed. She loved being cuddled and was constantly reminded of God's love and promise for her.We praise God for the gift of our little girl and look forward to the day when we can be with her once again in Heaven, where we will sing praises together to the Savior who has always held her in His loving arms.In memory of Isabelle Hope, memorials made to Jeffrey and Tiffany van Sliedrecht will be given to Wells Street Academy to continue providing educational experiences to special needs children like Izzy.Funeral services for Izzy will be held at St. John Lutheran Church, 510 Kewaunee Street on Monday, June 27, 2016 at 10 a.m. with Rev. Jack Gilbert officiating. Interment will take place at Graceland Cemetery. Relatives and friends are invited to meet with the family at the funeral home on Sunday, from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m.
