Obituary
She was born on April 2, 1935 to the late Daniel and Olive (nee: Swetlik) Krueger.
On August 15, 1955 she married Jack Boeselager. They were blessed with 6 children and 60 years of marriage. Sadly, Jack passed away on July 15, 2016.
Irene enjoyed shopping, gambling, gardening and most of all, baking. She was a member of the Moose Lodge #437 and the WI Tavern League.
She is survived by her children Linda, Bruce, Scott (Mary Beth), and Sherry (Brian); her grandchildren Joshua Johnson, Desiree (Jeremy) Schraufnagel, Doulas Boeselager, Jennifer Boeselager, Danielle (Derrick Ziegler) Irek, Timothy Boeselager and Dakota (Michael Dowden) Irek and her great-granddaughter Nora Schraufnagel. Irene is further survived by her son-in-law Ron Stemplewski and four siblings.
In addition to her parents and husband, she is preceded in death by her son Larry, her daughter Bonnie and five siblings.
Funeral Services for Irene will be held on Wednesday, January 8, 2025 at 11:30 a.m. at Purath-Stand Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Holy Cross Cemetery HWY 32. A visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Mooseheart, https://www.moosecharities.org/ways-to-give/ have been suggested.
