Racine – Hilde Lippold, 90, passed away at Hospice House in Racine on Wednesday, May 28, 2014. Hilde was born in the Ukraine on July 29, 1923 to Adolf and Olga (nee, Holz) Goering. She married Werner Lippold who preceded her in death on April 4, 1992. Survivors include her sons, Gert (Kathy) Lippold and Guenther (Carol) Lippold; grandchildren, Jenny (Chris) Anderson, Scott (Tiffany) Lippold, Colleen (Frank Donovan) Lippold and Michael (Laura Zakos) Lippold; great-grandchildren, Katie and Joel Anderson; brother, Erwin (Hella) Goering; brother-in-law, Kurt Hauser; and two sisters in Germany, Herta Kaiser and Lilly (Walter) Brandle. Hilde is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her sister, Erika Hauser; and brother-in-law, Rudy Kaiser. Funeral services for Hilde will be held at the funeral home on Friday, May 30, 2014 at 11 a.m. with Rev. Stephen Jennings officiating. Private family interment will take place at West Lawn Memorial Park. Relatives and friends may meet with the family at the funeral home on Friday morning from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the service at 11 a.m.The family would like to extend a special thank you to Dr. Mullane and his staff, also the staff at Hospice House in Racine and her special friend, Brenda Schulz for all their care and compassion given to Hilde.
