Obituary
Henryetta Lee Eser (nee, Sykes), 96, passed away at her home on Saturday, February 4, 2023.
Henryetta was born in Negaunee, MI on November 16, 1926 to Freeland Ross and Ethel E. (nee: Lee) Sykes. She married Thomas M. Eser at St. Stephens Episcopal Church in Racine on April 28, 1962. Henryetta was a member of the Circle 8 Square Dance Club and St. Ann Guild were she served as President of the Guild for 17 years. She was also a member of the Navy Volunteers on Kodiak Island, Alaska. Henryetta loved to knit, sew, read, travel, dance, cards, puzzles and coloring books. She was the very best wife a Coast Guard Sailor could have married.
Henryetta is survived by her husband of over 60 years, Thomas M. Eser, son Frank (Sharon) Eser, granddaughter Danel (Scott) Duchac and great grandchildren, Franki and Alex Duchac. She was preceded in death by her brothers and sisters.
A memorial service for Henryetta will be held at Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery at a later date.
