Racine – Henry W. Plouff, 66, passed away at his home on Saturday, January 19, 2013. Hank was born in Escanaba, MI on September 4, 1946 to Frederick and Adala (nee, Kirvilivach) Plouff. He was united in marriage to Linda Schrank, celebrating more than forty years together. Hank was a U.S. Army veteran, serving in Vietnam in 1967. He retired from Consolidated Freightways after more than twenty years. Hank was a member of Moose Lodge #437 and Teamsters Local 200. He enjoyed wood carving and whittling, but most of all he loved spending time with his grandsons. Hank is survived by his wife, Linda Plouff; daughters, Candyce 'Kandi' Plouff and Nicole (Raymond) Horn; grandsons, Dylan Plouff and Connor Horn; great-grandson, Noel Plouff; and his brother, David (Sue) Plouff. Hank is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; and sister, Barbara Wills. Funeral services for Hank will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday evening, January 22, 2013 at 7 p.m. with Full Military Honors. Relatives and friends may meet with the family at the funeral home on Tuesday from 4 p.m. until the time of the service. A private family inurnment will take place at Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery. 'Love you always and in all ways'
