Racine – Harry Lloyd Berkley, 94, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, September 14, 2013. Harry was born in Kenosha on April 8, 1919 to Lewis and Edna (nee, Sauve) Berkley. He married the former LaVerne Seyferth in Racine on December 13, 1947. Harry was employed by Gateway Tool & Die, Inc. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, the Sons of American Revolution and the Washington Park Men's Golf Club. He was very proud of being an Eagle Scout. Survivors include his wife, LaVerne Berkley; children, Kathleen Berkley, Marlene (William) Howe, Robert (Kathryn) Berkley and Sally (Ronald) Burdick; eleven grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; and sister, Nancy Stehlik. Harry is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, William Berkley; great-grandson, Charlie Adams; and special aunt, Molly Berkley. Funeral services for Harry will be held at Trinity Lutheran Church, 2065 Geneva Street, on Thursday, September 19, 2013 at 11 a.m. Relatives and friends may meet with the family at the funeral home on Wednesday evening from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. and at the church on Thursday morning from 10 a.m. until the time of the service. Private interment will take place at West Lawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Trinity Lutheran Church, Association of Glycogen Storage Disease for Research, P.O.
