Racine – Harriet P. Christiansen, nee Schmidt, 90, passed away at Ridgewood Care Center in Racine on Saturday, December 6, 2014. Harriet is survived by her brothers, John Schmidt of Kaukauna, WI and Donald Schmidt of Crivitz, WI. She is furthered survived by many nieces and nephews. Harriet was preceeded in death by her husband, Thomas; her brothers, Willard and Alphonse Schmidt; her sisters, Theresa Holowinski, Marie Hackbarth, Rosella Paczkowski, Genevieve Schuh and Evelyn Nehring. Funeral services for Harriet will be held at Purath-Strand Funeral Home on Thursday, December 11, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. Relatives and friends may meet with the family at the funeral home on Thursday from 12:00 p.m. until the time of service. Private interment will take place at a later time.
