Harold R. JensenRacine- Harold R. Jensen, 94, passed away at Woodstock Health and Rehabilitation Center on December 26, 2007.Harold was born in Racine on February 27, 1913 to James P. and Charlotte (nee: Muller) Jensen. He was united in marriage at Holy Communion Lutheran Church on January 29, 1939 to Mary Stloukal. She preceded him in death on October 8, 2001. Harold worked for E.C. Styberg engineering as a tool and die maker for over 25 years, retiring in October 1975. He was a volunteer for the Tex Reynolds toys for tots program for many years and enjoyed traveling. Harold is survived by his daughters, Linda Laabs of Green Bay and Gretchen Hammer of Racine; son and daughter in law, Glenn and Janet Jensen of Endicott, New York; grandchildren, Kathy Besson, Lisa Yeagle, Karen Laabs, Matthew Laabs, Lorie Recupero, Gregory Hammer, David Jensen and Stephen Jensen; seven great grandchildren and brother and sister in law, Harvey and Sylvia Jensen of North Royalton, OH. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Harold was preceded in death by two grandchildren, brother, Glenn Jensen and sister, Ellen Mayo. Funeral services for Harold will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday, January 2, 2008 at 1:00 p.m. Entombment will follow in Graceland Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet with the family on Wednesday morning from 11:00 a.m. until the time of services. The family would like to thank the staff at Woodstock for all of the care given to Harold.
