Obituary
Mount Pleasant -Gvozdenija Milosevic, 76, passed away on Saturday, October 25, 2025 at Columbia St. Mary's Hospital in Milwaukee.
She was born in Serbia on December 17, 1948 to the late Ljubodrag and Sretina (nee: Kovacevic) Milosevic.
On February 4, 1968 Gvozdenija married Ranisav Milosevic. In November 1977, their family immigrated to the United States.
She was a very talented seamstress for over 50 years. Denija was an active member of St. George Serbian Orthodox Church and served her community well.
She is survived by her husband of 57 years Ranisav Milosevic; her children Goran (Bojana) Milosevic and Zorica (Petar) Vukajlovic; and her grandchildren Aleksandar and Stefan Milosevic and Filip and Marko Vukajlovic.
In addition to her parents, Denija was preceded in death by her brother Milomir Milosevic.
Funeral services for Gvozdenija will be held on Thursday, October 30, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. at St. George Serbian Orthodox Church, 6108 Braun Road, Mt. Pleasant, WI 53403. Interment will follow in St.Nikola Serbian Orthodox Cemetery, HWY V, Caledonia. A visitation will be held Wednesday, October 29, 2025 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Purath-Strand Funeral Home.
