Grace Frances KureeRacine- Grace Frances Kuree, 91, passed away at Wheaton Franciscan Healthcare on Tuesday, March 20, 2012.Grace was born in Providence, RI on March 29, 1920 to George and Frances Hueffner. She attended school at St. Joseph Catholic School and Racine Vocational. Prior to marriage she worked at Racine Iron and Wire Works. During WWII she worked at Hamilton Beach. She married Leonard Kuree in 1946; He preceded her in death in 1967. She was then employed at the Red Cross Drugstore. Grace is survived by her son, Thomas Kuree; brother, George Hueffner; and sister, Bernice Slaasted. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Grace was preceded in death by her sister, Lois Pye.Visitation will held at the funeral home on Sunday, March 25, 2012 from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. a brief service will follow at 5:00 p.m. Private Interment will take place in Holy Cross Cemetery, Hwy. 32.
