Obituary
Caledonia- Gordon F. Skrobis, 79, passed away on Monday, August 29, 2022 at his home.
Gordon was born in Milwaukee on June 15, 1943 to the late Frank and Virginia (nee: Walczak) Skrobis.
He was a 1960 graduate of Pulaski High School. On May 17, 1969 at St. Stephens Catholic Church in Milwaukee, he married Olivia C. Oliviero.
Gordon served in the U.S. Navy until his honorable discharge in 1966. He proudly took the Stars and Stripes Honor Flight in 2018.
He was a steamfitter and a member of Steamfitters Local 601. Gordon was employed with Butters- Fetting, Brenner and Kuhlmann Inc.
He enjoyed fishing and was a talented, hardworking handyman.
Gordon will be remembered as a true family man by his wife of 53 years Olivia Skrobis; his daughter Dawn (Rick) Henckel; his son Dean Skrobis; his brother Dennis (Nancy) Skrobis; his niece Shelly (Dan) Rode; and his nephew Craig (Cheryl) Skrobis.
Inurnment with full military honors will be held on Wednesday, September 21, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. in Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Union Grove.
