Racine – Glenna Jean (Nee, Belcher) Blawat, 67, died at her home of breast cancer after several months of Hospice care surrounded by and cared for by those whom she loved. She will be sadly missed. Glenna was born in Traverse City, MI on December 21, 1945 to Jack and Vivian (nee, Matthews) Belcher. On January 16, 1971 she married Wayne C. Blawat. Glenna retired from Prudential Financial and was a member of Lutheran Chapel of the Cross in Franksville, the Racine Literacy Council, a Racine County Volunteer Guardian. Glenna is survived by her husband, Wayne C. Blawat; sons, Max, Matthew (Marie), and Aaron (Tiffany); grandchildren, Max, Marisa, Matthew, Isabelle and Iverson; her sister, Cynthia Anderson; brothers, Randy (Dot) Brown and Dean (Melinda) Belcher; and step-mother, Catherine Belcher, of Mesquite, TX. Glenna is also survived by other relatives and friends. Funeral services for Glenna will be held at Lutheran Chapel of the Cross on Saturday, June 1, 2013 at 10 a.m. with Rev. Brian Liermann officiating. Relatives and friends may meet with the family at the funeral home on Friday evening from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m.
