RACINE – Glenn A. Sorenson, 93, passed away at Kenosha Estates on Sunday, March 22, 2015. Glenn was born in North Cape on August 23, 1921 to Arthur W. and Inez E. (nee, Sumerton) Sorenson. He graduated from Waterford High School where he lettered in three sports all four years. On August 3, 1946, Glenn married the former Doris E. Mathieus. She preceded him in death on June 14, 2002. He retired from Wisconsin Electric Power Company (WE Energies) in Oak Creek, WI. In his retirement Glenn and Doris traveled extensively throughout Canada and the United States. Their most favorite places were Lake of the Ozarks and Las Vegas, not to mention any other casino that they might happen to come across along the way. Survivors include his sons, Jack Sorenson of Racine and Jay Sorenson of Ellenboro, NC; and his sister, Jane (Robert) Kebbekus. Glenn is also survived by other relatives and friends.Funeral services for Glenn will be held at the funeral home on Saturday, March 28, 2015 at 12 noon. A private interment will take place at West Lawn Memorial park. Relatives and friends may meet with the family at the funeral home on Saturday morning from 10 a.m. until the time of the service at 12 noon. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the American Heart Association or the American Diabetes Association.
