RACINE – Gerald Lee Voltz, 42, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, September 24, 2014. Gerry was born in Kenosha on June 17, 1972 to Timmy K. and Judith D. (nee, Bonn) Voltz. He married the late Laurie Marquardt who preceded him in death in 2006. Gerry was an outdoors person, spending time playing softball and baseball, hunting, fishing and he put many miles on his Harley. He loved to read, watch TV, cook and especially enjoyed his sweets. Gerry touched many lives and loved his family, especially his children. His loss will leave a huge hole in our family. Survivors include his children, Kyle Voltz and Kourtney Voltz; his parents, Timmy and Judith Voltz; sister, Debi (Tony) Zegarra; niece, Taylor Follensbee; great-nephew and godchild, Noah Follensbee; and his grandmothers, Berniece Ising and Helen Voltz. Gerry is also survived by many other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Ralph Bonn and Art Voltz. Funeral services for Gerry will be held on Tuesday, September 30, 2014. Relatives and friends may meet with the family at the funeral home on Tuesday evening from 4 until 7 p.m. with a small service to follow.
