Gerald Lyle Horner, Jr."Scrappy" Franksville – Gerald Lyle Horner, Jr., "Scrappy", 49, became Heaven's Angel on Wednesday, May 26, 2010. (Unexpectedly) Gerald became God's Child in Racine on April 17, 1961 to Gerald L. and Mary (nee, Zawacki) Horner, Sr. Gerald was formerly employed by Professional Positioners: also owned several rental properties. Gerald loved playing both electric and acoustic guitars. He was a good hearted person. Gerald is survived by his mother, Mary Horner; sister, Christine Ann Horner-King (Jason T. King); special friends, Jean Draeger, Cathy Lakatos-Fry and Bob Lentz. Gerald is also survived by many relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Gerald L. Horner, Sr.; paternal grandparents, Varley and Emma Jane Horner; maternal grandparents, Bernie and Tessie Zawacki; and close family friend, Jeffrey Allen Fry.Funeral services for Gerald will be held at the funeral home on Saturday, June 5, 2010 at 10:30 a.m. Interment will follow at West Lawn memorial park. Relatives and friends may meet with the family at the funeral home on Saturday morning from 9 a.m. until the time of services.
