George AsdigianSouth Milwaukee- George Asdigian, 77, passed away at St. Luke's South Shore on Wednesday, July 6, 2011. George was born in Racine on May 4, 1934 to Sarkis and Guluzar (nee: Yogourtjian) Asdigian. He married Azneef Bastermajian. George was a Chemical Engineer for Universal Oil Products. He was an aircraft enthusiast and was a member of the Experimental Aircraft Association. George was also a member of St. Hagop Armenian Apostolic Church.George is survived by his wife, Azneef Asdigian; sons, Sarkis (Gloria) Asdigian and Raffy Asdigian; grandchildren, Samuel, Joe, Corina and Taline; and siblings, Rose (Harry) Savajian, Katherine Kaprelian, Nancy (Dikran) Meghdessian and John (Joanne) Asdigian. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. George was preceded in death by his parents, sister Sarah Asdigian and brother in law, Garbo Kaprelian. Funeral service for George will be held at St. Hagop Armenian Apostolic Church on Thursday, July 14, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Fr. Daniel Garabedian officiating. Interment will follow Graceland Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet with the family at the church on Thursday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of services. Memorials to St. Hagop Armenian Apostolic Church have been suggested.
