RACINE – Gene O. Denneau, 75, passed away at his home on Wednesday, September 13, 2017 after a battle with cancer. Gene was born May 12, 1942 to Leonard and Lillian (nee,Behnke) Denneau. He married Kathleen Way on May 9, 1964 and worked for Pfister and Vogel Tanning Company for 33 years. Survivors include, his wife, Kathleen; son, Mark (Donna) Denneau; daughters, Patty (Steven) Evitts and Pamela (Jeff) Maranger and son, Paul (Jamie) Denneau; grandchildren, Maxwell Denneau, Emily (Jack) Jorgensen, Cody Denneau, Abby Maranger, Anastasia Denneau, Emily Evitts, Katie Maranger, Zoey Babikian, Tom (Jessica) and Jonathan (Erica) Jensen; great grandchildren, Ellie and Madaline Denneau, Jace Jorgensen, Atticus Brehan ,Bryce, Ty, Luke, Liam and Jayce Jensen; brothers, Arthur (Ann) Denneau, Chail Franks; sisters Donna Ward, Jackie Westcott, and Lorna (Ronald) Koch. Gene is also survived by many nieces and nephews, sister in law, Laverne Denneau and other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Robert Denneau. Memorial services for Gene will be held at the funeral home on Saturday, September 23, 2017 at 12 p.m. Relatives and friends may meet with the family at the funeral home on Saturday morning from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service at 12:00 p.m. A private inurnment will take place at West Lawn Memorial Park.
