RACINE – Gene R. Chardukian, 90, passed away a St. Luke's Medical Center on Friday, January 22, 2016. Gene was born in France on September 1, 1925 to Hatcher and Khatir (nee, Misserlian) Chardukian. He married Marie (nee, Tanielian) Chardukian in Lebanon, celebrating 57 years of marriage. He moved to the United States in 1954. Gene retired from Rainfair, Inc. Survivors include his wife, Marie Chardukian; son, Michael (Darlene) Chardukian; grandchildren, Lauren, Marina and Jonathan; his sister, Elsie (Henry) Russian; brother, Phillipe (Noelle) Tcheurdukian; niece and nephews, Richard, Christine, Henry, Jr. and Edmund; and grand niece and nephew, Julian and Marie. Gene is also survived by other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents. Funeral services for Gene will be held at St. Mesrob Armenian Apostolic Church on Monday, January 25, 2016 at 10 a.m. with Rev. Yeprem Kelegian officiating. Interment will follow at Graceland Cemetery. Relatives and friends are invited to meet with the family at the church on Monday morning from 9 a.m. until the time of the service at 10 a.m. Memorials may be direct to St. Mesrob Armenian Apostolic church.
