Racine- Gary D. Tradewell, 71, passed away at St. Joseph's Hospital on Sunday, December 10, 2017.Gary was born in Racine on May 2, 1946 to David and Mildred (nee: Ahlschlager) Tradewell. He graduated from Park High School and served in the United States Air Force. Gary married Karen Granditzke in Cudahy on August 13, 1966. He held various management positions during his 35 year career. After his retirement he drove a school bus in the hills of Missouri. He enjoyed spending time with his family, cooking and golfing. Gary is survived by his loving wife, Karen, children, Wendy Tradewell, Hiedi Tradewell and David (Stefani Flynn) Tradewell, grandchildren, Erin Tradewell and Ruby Flynn, sisters, Janice (Danny) Johnson and Jo (Jim) Christensen, brother in law, Paul Granditzke, sister in law, Gay (David) Griesbach. He is also survived by cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. A Mass of celebration for Gary will be held at St. Richard Catholic Church, 1503 Grand Avenue on Friday, December 15, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Allen Bratkowski officiating. Inurnment will take place in Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet with the family on Friday at the church from 9:30 a.m. until the time of Mass.
